Popped in today to get a float rod setup. The guys in there couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.  I was questioning a more expensive rod but I actually took the cheaper one after they explained the value and quality. Fully Stocked for all your angling needs. Sean and Dave are very helpful and give you pointers where needed. Very professional and nothing ever seems to be an issue. Proper tackle shops do still exist! Always a warm welcome in basildon angling! Been my local Shop for well over 30 years, now run by Sean and Dave, full of stock from top brands, carp, match, predator etc, they’re always happy to help and give advice and chat all things angling. I will always prefer to support a ‘proper’ tackle shop over the more commercialised ones and it’s brilliant to see them thriving! Exactly how a tackle shop should be! Had a chat with Sean and Dave about the Steve Neville’s bug eye on the Saturday The following Saturday they were there and boy was I happy with them and I ordered Steve Neville swingers which I was well happy with thank you very much, boys. I was like a kid on Christmas Day. And just one more thing Sean makes a lovely coffee so if you ain’t tried it, ask him to put the kettle on 👍
